Forever Fresh Summer Jeans

What do perfume and jeans have in common? Well, not much other than finding the right scent or the perfect fit is often a tough job. Thankfully, a company called Salsa is aiming to make that struggle a little less daunting. The Portuguese based clothing company has recently come out with scented jeans. Yes, scented. If you’re anything like me you’re probably questioning how this is even possible. Science? Magic?

These stylish jeans come in five colors with five different scents to match. There is green for apple, blue for blueberry, pink for strawberry, yellow for lemon, and orange for orange. The jeans will remain scented for up to 20 washes, which is a lot longer than you’d probably think. Convenient, considering the majority of the population avoids doing laundry until they’re down to the last pair of underwear. So, if you have jeans that constantly emit a fruity fresh scent… I bet you see where I’m going with this.

Let’s say you wash your “smelly” jeans once a week that means they’ll last you at least 20 weeks, which is pretty close to half a year. If you think about it, it’s not a bad deal for a pair of jeans that won’t break your bank account, either. The jeans are selling for around 70 euros a pair, with sporadic discounts or deals here and there. Plus, just because they may eventually stop smelling delightful doesn’t mean they stop looking fabulous.

These bright colored jeans are bound to make a statement regardless if they give off a scent. Personally, I think they seem pretty perfect for those cool summer evenings, agree?
