Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Cape Town 2014
Last week the city of Cape Town, South Africa was electric with the energy of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Fashion week took place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on July 24-26. Designers were launching their latest spring/summer fashion lines. This year, the city of Cape Town partnered with African Fashion International (AFI), which is an organization committed to boosting upscale African fashion round the world. This Fashion Week drew a vast crowd of industry entrepreneurs, buyers, influencers, and local and international media to Cape Town to witness South Africa’s top designers lines hit the runway. Designers of this South African Fashion Week definitely came to impress and you could have easily thought you were in one of the top fashion capitals of the world. The world is going to want to keep an eye on the brilliant fashion that is taking off in South Africa.
