One of the most curious attractions at Jervis Bay in Australia occurs during low tide when the night is moonless and dark. Sometimes nature puts on a very extravagant display of magical beauty in places that are already among the most beautiful in the world. This unique phenomenon is caused by a reaction within plankton which creates swirls of glowing blue along the beach.💙 What can be seen as a red tide during the day, the microalgae Noctiluca scintillans produces a bright blue glow at night when it is distributed.
