In today’s travel news, discover the village of Portofino! Portofino is the playground for the rich and famous. Located in the heart of the Italian Riviera coastline, southeast of Genoa city lies a small town called Portofino that has a stunning harbor. Portofino offers a very colorful seaside view. Pastel-colored houses, high-end boutiques, and seafood restaurants fringe its Piazzetta, a small cobbled square overlooking the harbor, which is lined with super-yachts. A path leads from the Piazzetta to Castello Brown, a 16th-century fortress and museum with art exhibitions and panoramic views of the town and the Ligurian Sea. Portofino has been a favorite vacation spot for the jet-set since the 1950s. These days, the jet-set moor their stunning yachts in one of the secluded coves along the coast – Madonna and her family were spotted on a yacht just off the Portofino coast not too long ago – leaving the village to the thousands of day-trippers. #travelwithyoureyes
