More Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters

Since we last spoke about Miss Universe 2017, Demi-Leigh has been busy, which is a normal part of her life now. First was her trip back to her native land, South Africa where she visited her hometown of Sedgefield. Her country welcomed her back with open arms as you can expect. With her win, it was the first time in 39 years that South Africa had a Miss Universe representative.

A massive crowd welcomed her home where she was adorned with flowers and treated like the queen she is, as she made her way down to Cape Town. She made a few stops at some of the country’s biggest media outlets and then it was off to The Sun Met. This is where she met athletics legend, Usain Bolt! But we’re sure she’s used to meeting people of such calibre now.

Before she knew it she was jetting back to the US as she had to do the rounds promoting the Super Bowl LII. During these stops she had time for a quick linkup with fellow model, Halima Aden and even stopped by the Twitter headquarters.

Finally, Demi-Leigh was spotted at all the hottest shows at this year’s New York Fashion Week. Dani Liu Design was the first show she attended and next up was the Sheri Hill show before she sat front row at the of Son Jung Wan design showcase. Take a look at all the images below…
