Airport Tips

We’re getting closer to the end of the year and we’re finally approaching the festive season. The holidays are around the corner, which can only mean one thing: it’s time to pack your bags! Whether you plan to fly for the first time this holiday or take your regular flight to your favourite destination the airport chaos is unavoidable. Luckily for you we have a few tips on how to keep your sanity at the airport this holiday season.

Get to the airport early. We know it’s annoying to have to get to the airport hours in advance, but it can really make or break your holiday travel experience. By arriving early you’re safe if there are extra-long lines at check-in or security. However, if you find yourself with a ton of extra time simply start a new book or put in those earphones and enjoy the peace and quiet before your holiday madness begins.

Make sure your travel essentials are within reach. When you’re at the airport make sure to have your boarding pass out and available for security to check so you don’t have to turn your bags upside down while looking for it or hold up any lines behind you. It’s crucial to organize your luggage before you head to the airport so that you know where everything is and to avoid any unnecessary stress.

Stay comfortable. Traveling is stressful enough so there’s no need to make it worse by wearing uncomfortable clothing. Instead, settle on a simple t-shirt, stretchy pants and a warm and comfortable jacket or sweater. Also make sure to wear a pair of both comfortable and practical shoes so that you’re not tempted to commit the ultimate travel sin and take them off during the flight. This goes without saying, but always remember to keep your belongings and loved ones safe andclose to you. We wish you a safe travel and return!
