Model News – Naomi Campbell for H&M
It’s another Wednesday which mean it’s time for another dose of our model news segment. We enjoy bringing you the latest in what’s happening in the world of models and today is no different.
Today we will be looking at the latest ad campaign from Swedish retailers, H&M. For their latest work, the brand decided to call on one of the most iconic models out there, Naomi Campbell!
That’s right, Ms Campbell debuts H&M’s latest collection which is all about the masculine-meets-feminine power dressing trend happening right now. Naomi sees her return to working with the brand as she was last used over 20 years ago, which once again proves her staying power in a fickle industry.
In the video, you can see Naomi lip-sync to the song “WHAM” as she takes a trip through the city of Tokyo. You can’t see much of the collection in the video as the retailer gets prepared to launch it in its entirety over the course of the next few months.
Speaking about the upcoming wave in the fashion world Naomi went on to state “I think next year there’s going to be a new rage. Right now, it feels like there’s a bit of a stillness and everyone’s at the crossroads, but I think that means there’s exciting times to come, and I don’t use that word often”.
