Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio Sign on For Olympics

Sadly you won’t see them running around a track or hitting the pool, but Brazilian beauties Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio have announced they will representing their homeland at the upcoming Summer Olympics as special correspondents for the NBC network. 

The Victoria’s Secret angels will also be working on special segments about the local food and culture to share the best of their country with the world. Alessandra told  People magazine:  “I am so proud that the games are in Rio this year. The city’s traditions and beautiful nature set it apart, but the people make the city so special.

Adriana told People that Brazilians are very passionate about sports. “Sports run in our blood!” she said. “We’re just so honoured to have this huge event in our country. This way the whole world will have a chance to experience our culture up close.” 

Adriana also revealed  she’s rooting for her friend Neymar da Silva Santos Junior as he represents Brazil in soccer.

“And of course I’m rooting for the Brazilian soccer team and Neymar, as he is a good friend. “I love him because he is the God of Brazilian soccer.” Well he may be, but these two are the queens of Brazilian modelling!
