WORLD SWIMSUIT BORNEO 2016 DIARY – DAY 15

Yesterday we ended the day with a trip to the main island, Kota Kinabalu, where we went to an amazing karaoke bar and sang our hearts out for a few hours. At the time it felt like a great idea, this morning not so much.

We met at the jetty just as the sun was starting to peek over the horizon, and set off with for a small beach which is home to an even smaller fishing community. Initially the light wasn’t playing along, so we spent some time scouting for the best spots and observing the locals going about their daily business while Merle Titus a.k.a. Merry Merle did her magic and made Bianca Koyabe look even more stunning than she already is. While we were pottering about, the resort had arranged a small boat to bring us a much needed breakfast. Then, without warning, it was time to shoot!

Jacques put Bianca in a lot of interesting positions, and had her in and out of the water, interacting with boats and fishing nets. Bianca had a lot of fun interacting with the environment and looked absolutely at home on the beach and frolicking in the water.

After wrapping things up on the small beach we broke for lunch, had a quick breather, and headed back out to Tavajun Bay, the resort’s private beach and one of our favourite shooting locations.

We took all the girls with us, Tana Boshoff, Bianca Koyabe, Genevieve Morton, and Zippora Seven, and knocked out some social media content and sponsor work.

The day ended with Zippy’s departure. Like all the other girls who have joined us, and her authentic, down-to-earth presence will be dearly missed.
