WORLD SWIMSUIT BORNEO 2016 DIARY – DAY 14
Yacht life. That’s what accurately describes today, seeing as we spent just about the entire day on Little Princess II, Gaya Island Resort’s smaller motor yacht. We left from the jetty at 5:30, only returning for lunch, and then back on board until about 18:30.
The morning was tough, but worth it. The light was superb, and Jacques had the yacht doing circles in front of the resort as he snapped away at the seductive Tana Boshoff.
Despite the relatively small size – the yacht is only a 39-footer – Jacques creativity prevailed and he managed to get some amazing, diverse shots while cruising, including two during which Tana was almost dangling overboard and needed some extra hands to keep her secure.
After Tana’s shoot for the day was done, we dropped her off and picked up Zippy Seven, Genevieve Morton and Bianca Koyabe for a beautiful sunset cruise which we’d paired with a Malibu Rum shoot.
Although it looked like we might have been sailing for disappointment due to cloud cover, the lower the sun sank the more beautiful it looked and the actual sunset was exquisite.
A long and productive day behind us, we caught a boat into town and when to a local karaoke bar called The Place to relax and unwind.
