WORLD SWIMSUIT BORNEO 2016 DIARY – DAY 12
This morning started with a pre-dawn boat ride to a nearby island so that we could catch the sunrise from there. Still groggy and shaking off the sleep, we quietly sipped our coffees as the boat bounded across the ocean. Our final destination was a narrow strip of beach littered with shells and coarse sand – perfect for our shoot with Zippora Seven.
The New Zealand native, who is now more a citizen of the world, is the epitome of a laid-back, surfer girl. Sun-kissed skin, crystal clear blue eyes, and beautiful locks of golden blonde hair. Quiet but confident, she looked absolutely at home playing in the shallow waters and chilling on the beach, and Jacques snapped some amazing shots.
We broke for lunch and then headed to our favourite local beach, Tavajun Bay. The afternoon light was excellent and Jacques had Zippy rolling around in the sand and splashing in water. P.M.C. and Mr Flare then stole her for some social media content, and afterwards they were joined by Tropical Bro to film the final parts of her hero sequence.
Zippy was lovely to work with and by the end of the day she felt like part of the family.
On our way back to the resort we were treated to a beautiful Bornean sunset.
