Shanina Shaik Defends Kendall and Gigi

When Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid nailed a coveted spot as part of the Victoria’s Secret crew last November, they drew criticism that they had not “earned their spot”.

But fellow model Shanina Shaik begs to differ. Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the 24-year-old said Gigi and Kendall, both 20, have worked ‘really hard’ to get where they are in spite of their famous family connections. Shanina admitted that whilst their prior fame would have given them a leg up, they weren’t treated any differently from any of the other Angels, were true pros and didn’t take the opportunity for granted. ‘They’re very humble and they’re very appreciative of everything great that happens to them,’ she said.
